Best Myrtle Beach 4th of July Activities
The 4th of July at the MarshWalk celebrates our national Independence Day in true Grand Strand style with a boat parade and fireworks. This event is perfect for families looking to soak up the rays and enjoy a mesmorizing show. Starting an noon, a boat parade will make its way from the Garden City Point, through the inlet, past the MarshWalk and all the way to Morse Park Landing. Enjoy live music, delicious treats and the Grand Strand's largest ariel fireworks show at 10pm.
We often spend the 4th of July celebrating with our families, friends and loved ones... but how often do we get the chance to thank our brave troops? Salute From The Shore is an honored tradition throughout the Grand Strand, and anyone is welcome to join! Locals and visitors alike will line up along the beach from Cherry Grove to Lake Murray at 1pm on July 4th to wave flags and cheer as F-16s from 169th Fighter Wing at McEntire Joint National Guard base fly over followed by a fleet of vintage military aircraft.
The Surfside Beach 4th of July Celebration has a little bit of everything for the family. This crowd favorite is at the Surfside Pier from 6pm - 10pm, and offers live music, entertainment, concessions and more. We recommend starting your day off at the beach and then heading over for the free Celebration Music Theatre performance inflatable kid's rides.
