Starting at 5:30 PM, watch as decorated boats cruise through the inlet. Most people gather to watch the show at the MarshWalk and nearby docks. Arrive early to claim your viewing spot—this event draws big crowds!

After the parade, experience one of the area’s largest fireworks displays over the inlet, beginning around 10:00 PM. The show is best viewed from the Murrells Inlet MarshWalk, as well!

Starting at 10:00 AM, decorated golf carts make their way through the North Litchfield Beach community. If you're traveling with kids, they'll love the show!

Surfside Beach 4th of July Celebration

For a family-friendly 4th of July celebration with a local flair, head to Memorial Park in Surfside Beach. From 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, the town hosts a festive event featuring live music by Kendall Lanford, food trucks, games, giveaways, and a dedicated Kids Zone complete with foam fun. Entertainment includes stilt walkers, balloon artists, face painting, and even a visit from Spiderman.

While the town will not host an official fireworks show this year, beachgoers can still enjoy various community displays lighting up the shoreline.

    Pawleys Island 4th of July Parade

Local families go all-out, and awards are given for the most creative displays. It's a great way to kick off the holiday with a dose of small-town charm.

    Salute the Troops




    Salute the Troops is a special Independence Day Celebration in Myrtle Beach. Every year, folks gather to thank those who make our independence possible!

    Watch as F-16s from Shaw Air Force Base make their way down the coastline, beginning at Cherry Grove in North Myrtle Beach. It's a unique way to celebrate the Fourth and show appreciation to those in the Air Force planes and beyond. Witnessing them fly above the beach is quite the sight to behold!
