As if we already couldn't get enough outdoor dining! The new normal means our favorite restaurants with outdoor patios and seating are even more popular. Restaurants in our area opened up for outdoor seating on May 5th, and we're excited to take a break from cooking. Lucky for us, the Myrtle Beach area is home to a ton of restaurants with patios that offer beautiful views and excellent food. Here are some of our favorite choices for outdoor dining.

Bummz Beach Café has a large, oceanfront patio with great views. You can expect classic seafood dishes like Clam Chowder and Fish ‘n’ Chips. They serve liquor, beer and wine with a daily happy hour from 4pm – 6pm. They also have a kids’ menu with options like Grilled Cheese and Hot Dogs.

We love ourselves some Hot Fish Club! This restaurant offers locally sourced food, early bird specials and can make gluten-free, dairy-free and egg-free meals upon request. Think fresh eats like Surf & Turf and Flounder Platters. Hot Fish Club offers a creekside setting and often has live music too!

Captain Bennett's Calabash Seafood Buffet is infamous, and has been in the area since 1985. They offer outdoor seating and a kids menu. You can expect seafood favorites like Alaskan Snow Crablegs, Stuffed Crabs, Homemade Crabcake, Grilled Tuna, Black Mussels, Fried Oysters and so much more.

This waterfront seafood restaurant offers tremendous views and very tasty eats. Sea Captain's House serves up breakfast, lunch and dinner. We recommend their Crab Cakes Benedict or their Carolina Surf and Turf. They also offer a great selection of fresh choices like salads and fresh fish.

Situated on the inlet with excellent views looking out towards Drunken Jack Island, the outdoor seating at Graham's Landing is a special treat. Soups, salad, meals fresh off the grill - you can get it all here. Graham's Landing sources local ingredients and it is reflected in the taste of their dishes. They offer a full bar and have fun cocktails like the Cool Cucumber Gimlet and the Cadillac Margarita.

Bimini's is fun, fresh and delicious. You'll love the island theme that accompanies this oyster bar, and the locals do too! They offer steampots, shellfish, grilled favorites like Tuna Wasabi and much more. They also offer a full bar with beer and some delicious frozen cocktails.

While there is limited outdoor seating available at the Grilled Cheese & Crab Cake Co, it's worth the chance! This place cooks up some seriously melty delights. It's the perfect option for a quick bite to eat, and you can always take it to-go and have a picnic if their outdoor seating is full.

Some like it hot, and we like Hot Tomato! This Italian and New York Style Brick Oven Pizza joint offers a great outdoor patio with umbrellas. Think Calamari Fritti, Mussels Marinara, Veal Piccata and Chicken Sorrentino. Hot Tomato offers a full bar and imported Italian wines.
